I'm glad to announce the official release of Lost In Translation - Hopeful Redux, the upgraded release to Lost In Translation - No Hope. This release brings a slew of new additions, updates, and bug fixes to the game.
New Additions:
All Modes
- A new batch of assignments has been implemented, evening the assignment count to 12.
- A new payment system was implemented, affected by the difficulty
- New max parameters are set, making the normal game harder.
- A symptom of high stress is added however, the shortening of cipher text.
- An added risk in the chance of hospital visits is added, 1(on hard) and 2(on normal) visits and your save wipes clean.
- Ending credits for this game over scenario are also added in.
- Script bug fixes have been implemented into the game.
Hard Mode Only
- The reference on the right has all previous text replaced with “GUIDE ERROR”
- Payment is cut in half, comparable to the old version’s pay.
- Additions to stress are multiplied by 2
- The Café now delivers coffee to the player in 30 in-game minutes.
- The stress ceiling is lowered by half.
- And finally sleeping does not subtract from stress.
Developer/Non-Gameplay
- A dev command system has been implemented, with approx. 10 hidden features.
- Achievements have been added, along with a panel on the main menu to check.
- Non Save File variables like Achievements, and the unlocking of Hard Mode are put in a new Settings Save File
- A folder is created on load hosting Lost In Translation Save Data & Settings.
- A new full screen toggle AND 3 new resolution settings(1024x768, 800x600, and 768x576)
